1. Overview

This privacy policy explains how Startup Tempo ("we", "us") processes personal data on startuptempo.de in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We collect as little data as possible and are transparent about every tool we use.

3. Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service from Google Ireland Ltd. ("Google"), to measure reach and to understand how visitors use our website. GA4 helps us improve our content and user experience.

Consent only. GA4 is only loaded and only starts processing data once you have explicitly given your consent via our cookie banner. Without consent no GA4 script is loaded and no requests are sent to Google Analytics servers.

Categories of data typically processed by GA4:

• • Online identifiers and cookies (e.g. a randomly generated client ID)
• • Usage data such as page views, navigation paths, clicks and other interactions
• • Truncated IP address (used by Google to derive approximate location, then discarded)
• • Device and browser information (e.g. device type, screen size, browser, operating system, language)
• • Referrer URL (the website you came from)

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR (consent) and § 25 (1) TTDSG for the storage of and access to information on your device.

Recipients / international transfer: Data may be transferred to Google servers, including in the US. Google participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Where necessary, Standard Contractual Clauses apply.

Retention: GA4 data is stored for the period configured in our GA4 property (default: 2 to 14 months) and is then automatically deleted by Google.

4. Withdrawing or changing consent

You can withdraw or change your consent at any time with effect for the future. To do so, click the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page.

5. Server log files

When you visit our website, our hosting provider automatically processes technical access data (e.g. IP address, timestamp, URL accessed, user agent) in order to deliver the website and ensure its security. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. These logs are not merged with analytics data.

6. Contact by email

If you contact us via hello@startuptempo.de, we process the personal data you provide exclusively to handle your enquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. b and lit. f GDPR.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. 8. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes in our tools or legal requirements. The current version is always available on this page.
